This kit comes pre-colonised with thick, healthy mycelium, so you can skip straight to fruiting!
In order to fruit Reishi, the easiest method is to fruit directly inside the bag. Simply unfold the top of the bag so it stands upright, and place near some ambient light. The mushrooms will begin to fruit inside, so there’s no need to cut or open the bag until harvest. It’s that easy! Alternatively, you can grow your fruiting block in a humidity-controlled chamber, like a monotub or martha tent.

Good ingredients make for good grow kits. That is why we only use our 100% natural and organic MS-4 substrate in our kits. Our fourth-generation substrate, this mix of optimally hydrated millet, wood pellets, soy hulls and gypsum has been thoroughly tested and refined. Mushrooms are quite sensitive to artificial chemicals and do not grow well on contaminated substrates. It is for this reason that we only use the finest, natural ingredients for your ‘shroomies’. Giving you the perfect nutrient-rich environment that is optimal for your mycelium to thrive.
Storage
Please aim to use your grow kits soon after receiving them. If you need to store them, put them in the fridge. They can last a number of months before they expire.
